Takhassusaat-e-Ummahat-ul-Momineen is a remarkable book written by Dr. Hafiz Usman Ahmad. This book presents the blessed lives of the wives of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in a unique and inspiring manner. The author highlights the noble status, virtues, and distinctive qualities of the Mothers of the Believers in the light of the Qur’an and Hadith. While many virtues are shared among all the noble wives, the book especially focuses on the specific qualities and special distinctions granted to each individual wife. This work holds a special place in Urdu literature because it is considered the first book dedicated specifically to the unique specializations (takhassusaat) of the Mothers of the Believers. تخصصاتِ امہات المومنین  کے مؤلف کا نام  ڈاکٹر حافظ عثمان احمد ہے۔ یہ کتاب 216 صفحات پر مشتمل ہے اور اس میں حضور نبی اکرم ﷺکی ازواجِِ مطہرات رضی اللہ عنہن کی مبارک زندگیوں کو ایک منفرد اور دلنشین انداز میں پیش کیا گیا ہے۔

مصنف نے قرآن و حدیث کی روشنی میں امہات المومنین کے مقام و مرتبہ، فضائل و مناقب اور ان کی نمایاں خصوصیات کو بیان کیا ہے۔ بعض فضائل ایسے ہیں جو تمام ازواجِ مطہرات میں مشترک ہیں، جبکہ کچھ خصوصیات ہر زوجۂ مطہرہ کے لیے مخصوص اور انفرادی حیثیت رکھتی ہیں۔

یہ کتاب اردو ادب میں ایک خاص امتیاز رکھتی ہے کیونکہ امہات المومنین کے تخصصات کے موضوع پر یہ پہلی باقاعدہ تصنیف سمجھی جاتی ہے۔ اس کی ایک اور نمایاں خوبی یہ ہے کہ ازواجِِ مطہرات کے اسمائے گرامی کو اس ترتیب سے بیان کیا گیا ہے، جس ترتیب سے وہ بیتِ نبوی میں ام المومنین کی حیثیت سے تشریف لائیں۔
